Corabelle the Corpus Christi Mermaid is an underwater performer and the owner of Sparkling City Mermaids-- Corpus Christi's Premier choice for mer-related entertainment in the Coastal Bend. Corabelle has always been a true mermaid at heart. Growing up the daughter of a Navy Sailor who worked on aircraft carriers, she’s lived in many places along the coastal United States. Never being too far from
the ocean, her thirst for mer-knowledge as a young girl drove her to develop a life-long ambition to become a mermaid. Corabelle is the owner of Sparkling City Mermaids, the premier choice for mer-related entertainment in South Texas. She has a special place in her heart for entertaining people of all ages, but primarily focuses on delighting children. She loves to sing and play games with kids; educating little ones about the sea through fun is her forte. When Corabelle isn’t swimming around as a mermaid, she spends time with her family and works as a freelance journalist. She writes articles that concentrate on the local community for the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. Corabelle is an accomplished writer and editor, and earned her degrees in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising from Del Mar College. Corabelle strives for excellence in everything she does. Her hobbies include: traveling, crafting, singing, and volunteering. For over a decade, she has called Corpus Christi her home, and is looking forward to meeting people who live in the Sparkling City by the Sea- and beyond! The Corpus Christi Mermaid is First Aid and CPR Certified. She is also licensed to work with children in the state of Texas. Our mermaids are available for a number of events.
