Big congratulations to Tami Dowdle for earning both Best of Show and Best of New York by QCNYS at the Crystal City Quilt Show!

“This was originally a block of the month, but I ended up replacing many of the fabrics. I had it longarm quilted by my mother, Janet Bauter,” wrote Tami on her submission form.

Her appliqué quilt clearly made a standout impression. The artistry, attention to detail, and beautiful collaboration behind this exceptional piece make these honors so well deserved.
