Practicing Rocks in water during a Mastering Oil painting webinar. I know this can improve but I have issues knowing when to stop. Will continue to practice over the next few weeks as suggested by the instructor. I will add my attempts to this post to compare and monitor improvements (hopefully).

Handmade using Scheepjes yarn Whirl - Mediterranean MooHa Ombre collection
Modified SisLove pattern since I wanted to optimize the beautiful ombre and use the entire skein with no additional yarn.
Two weeks to finish considering the number of times I had to frog the last 6 - 8 rows to get the modified border to lay flat. 🙄

Like or not as you wish. No disparaging comments necessary - this senior-citizen artist is her own worst critic.

I wouldn't be doing any of this without Abba leading me back to my childhood amusements whilst fighting the dark of a Michigan winter, a job layoff from teaching, and a creeping malaise January 2021.

Creative inspirations for my work are mostly found in the Nature of Michigan - travels and in my humble small-town backyard.

I like simple, homemade, quirky, and colorful. Simple is rarely simple I have found - it takes a lot of work and time. Homemade - I like to do it myself. Quirky comes naturally - sometimes borderlines bumbling. Colorful - full of color - color is my language... any other synesthetes out there?
