We haven't posted in some time but it doesn't mean we're gone.
Getting a skatepark built doesn't happen over night or in year. Here is where we are with it. We have presented to city council, attended events and had events to promote the skatepark. The skatepark did make it to the city's recommendation plan to be possibly be built. But if you ask me when, I can't give anyone that answer. All sk8conway can do is continue to promote the idea and have events. There are two petitions our there for a skatepark in Conway, sign and share either one to show support. If you live in Conway and have space for us to set up some ramps and obstacles, please let me know. As much as we would like to have a skate day once a month, the cost for one day insurance is pretty pricey. We are open to all ideas and any assistance.

With the temps being high and work , we havnt been posting much. But we are still out here trying to move the ball foward. We will plan some dates soon to continue to offer beginners skate lessons at one of the parks here in Conway. Until then make to trip over to Matt Hughs Skatepark in Myrtle Beach. Most time if you go before 12 there's always someone there to offer assistance. We will post those dates and locations soon.

Huge Thanks to everyone who came out to make our event a success! We are beyond greatful for your support - whether you donate gear, purchase a sponsorship or helped the kids with skate lessons YOU made a difference.

Watching the community come together and seeing so many kids smiling and learning was what it is all about.

We’re just days away from Conway’s very first Go Skate Day — and it’s for everyone!

Whether you skateboard, roller skate, rollerblade, scooter, or ride BMX, this event is for you. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

We’ll be offering free skate lessons every hour, with loaner boards and safety pads available. Plus, we’ve got tons of freebies, food trucks, and local vendors all day long.

All we need now is YOU — don’t miss out!
