Dear Friends & Colleagues:

Soon after performing my Six Little Piano Pieces in 2022, pianist-composer-conductor Max Lifchitz kindly requested a new work from me for a planned solo CD. He premiered my Minims for Max (2023) in 2024 and released it last year on his Piano Crosscurrents (N/S), which recently received a most appreciative Fanfare review.

On Monday, May 4, at Klavierhaus in NYC (7 pm EDT), Mr. Lifchitz will perform the Minims for Max again in his annual Cinco de Mayo celebration--this year also featuring music by Marshall Bialosky, Carlos Chavez, Aaron Copland, Manuel Enriquez, Max Lifchitz, Sheli Nan, William Ortiz, Silvestre Revueltas, Manuel M. Ponce, and Emiliana de Zubeldia. The program's duration is approximately 80 minutes.

Attendance is free @ Klavierhaus (790 11th Avenue between 51st-52nd), but the program can also be livestreamed wherever you may be, via this (clickable) LINK:

Sincerely,

Bob Fleisher
