Thank you to everyone who participated in & supported our Throttle for Life event. Because of your generosity, we were honored to present this donation to the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention.
This cause is deeply personal to our family. We lost our son Kaleb to su***de in 2022, & his memory continues to inspire us to support su***de prevention, mental health awareness, & hope for others who may be struggling.
Every act of kindness & every donation helps make a difference. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stood with us & helped turn our loss into a way to support & bring hope to others.

Thank you for helping us honor Kaleb‘s memory & for being part of this mission. Together, we can continue to raise awareness, reduce stigma, & remind people that they are never alone.

💚One of the questions we are often asked is, “Does this event really make a difference?”💚

After our Su***de Awareness Convoy, we received a phone call that answered that question for us.

We were told that someone who was struggling & having thoughts saw our convoy traveling down the road. They pulled over & watched as truck after truck passed by, united for a cause bigger than ourselves. Seeing the truckers & community coming together to raise awareness for mental health & su***de prevention gave them a reason to pause, reflect, & choose to keep going!

We may never fully know the impact that a conversation, a kind gesture, or even an event like this can have on someone’s life, hearing this story reminded us exactly why Throttle for Life exists! 💚

Thank you Kody Figg for helping us create a lasting tribute in memory of those we love & miss.
I called Kody one afternoon, pitched him my idea, and by the very next day he brought my vision to life using old camshaft & various truck parts. He built one of a kind tree that has become a meaningful part of our event. The Remembrance tree provides a special place for attendees to honor & remember loved ones who are no longer with us. It serves as a powerful reminder of why we host Throttle for Life. Kody, thank you for sharing your talent, creativity, & time to help make this vision a reality. 💚Ryker’s Choice Award💚
One of the most special awards presented at the 2nd Annual Throttle for Life Truck & Light Show is the Ryker’s Choice Award donated by DiSTAR Industries!

Each year, our grandson Ryker personally chooses his favorite truck from the show. The winner receives the Ryker‘s Choice Award, & their truck will be featured on next year‘s event T-shirt.

This award holds a very special place in our hearts. Four years ago, we lost our son, Kaleb, to su***de. Ryker is Kaleb’s son, and through this award, we are able to honor Kaleb’s memory while giving Ryker a meaningful role in an event that was created to bring awareness to mental health and su***de prevention. 

Congratulations to this year‘s, Ryker‘s Choice Award winner - Josh Podany! Thank you, Josh for being part of an event that means so much to our family & to everyone who supports our mission of raising awareness!

2026 Throttle For Life convoy. Thank you again to all of our first responders that joined us and assisted in traffic control, and thank you to all the drivers who came together to make this possible! Without you all we couldn’t have made any of this possible or this memorable. Hope to see you all next year!
