Sometimes this is the process of Art

I have been off lately and set up to do some much needed art therapy

I started out thinking I was doing to paint on some wood slabs and call it a night… 💤
I didn’t have a plan and just delved in and just let me mind take me wherever it wanted and this was this was the results 💕
1️⃣one painted slab- with a sticker
2️⃣ I started a new slab- with the alien, and just stopped “feeling it”
3️⃣ I turned the slab over and used my left arm to make hearts, and then just scribbled- just because it’s what I felt like doing
4️⃣- I finished off with covering stickers on the slab, any picture that I liked or just wanted
( and then flipped over and randomly wanted to stop- so I did)

The results is not beautiful- but the process was

Letting my mind wander, and do whatever on the whim… being FREE

….and this is why I love Art

We made book tote bags- using a blank white tote and acrylic markers

The funds went to a Taylorsville teacher to purchase books(and viewpoint donated books as well!) to gift to each of her students for Christmas to encourage LOVE of reading 📚

Gingerbread making event last week 12/11

You will get the picking pad and the mold to remelt
- silinot- blue base- is USA made-nontoxic
- can remelt 30 times
Pick the pad and then use the mold to remelt the silinot and re-add the contents.
Melt 20 seconds at a time, once melted leave in microwave for 5 mins, then move to fridge until desired texture.

Picky pads are used for:
Anxiety
Skin picking/ hair pulling
Fine motor skills
Sensory stimulation
Plus more 💕
