Hiii. My new song “PARTY PHASE” drops 6/14 at midnight 💥 Gotta be so real. Every single time I’m gearing up to release new music I brace myself for some disappointment and heartache, knowing that whatever I post will not be seen by many, and I already anticipate that the song is doomed, it protects me a little bit. Sometimes I get on such a high from the process of making things that forget how hard I hit the ground when actually releasing it doesn’t live up to that feeling / my expectation. At this point I don’t expect success for myself, I don’t expect an outpouring of love or support anymore. I am certainly not favored by the algorithm, and I may not be everyone’s cup of tea, and while that’s hard for me, it’s okay. I’m trying hard to still push and share my art with the world and attempt to connect and share my love and passion with people despite the pain it causes me, because I so badly want to feel seen. And I love to do what I do, and I guess I just hope that one day somehow I can carve out a little space for myself in this world. For now I’ll keep shouting into the void. If you see this say hi!
