Tonight is the farm to table feast at 𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬] to benefit a family in need. My family is donating all the gluten free baked goods. I’m also donating to the silent auction. These yarns were hand dyed by me.

You will get 3 skeins of sock yarn and a coordinating project bag. Yarns can be switched out for other yarns in stock if you want different colors/weights.

It’s been really hard for me to knit these past few months. I just wasn’t feeling it. Most of my things are packed away, so I only had a sweater to work on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It was too hot to work on it, so instead I stopped by and bought some new needles and yarn. I just did straight stockinette stitch because it didn’t require thinking on my part. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I decided to do an afterthought heel becauseI love how the stripes are developing. I didn’t want to chance the pattern changing.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Hello world! I’m sorry that I’ve been MIA for a few months. We moved in June to a little homestead.

I naively thought it would only mean being offline for a few weeks. Instead it’s taken until now for us to figure out a stable internet solution. It’s still not perfect, but at least I can access my website and emails now!

This weekend we should be changing cell carriers so we have a back up in place too. Rural living has its challenges. Cell signal is one of them! I’ve already been broken down in the side of the road once without phone service.

Next will be starting up my dyeing. I anticipate it being a learning curve because of how different the water is here. I can’t wait to get started again!
