So honored to have represented David!!

Today, we honor and celebrate the wonder-filled life of David Hostetler. Dec 27th marks his 99th heavenly Birthday.
David was an artist, a creative, a sculptor, a printmaker, a professor, a husband, a friend, and an inspiration to all.

David Hostetler’s whole life was the pursuit of an artistic vision. His unique style is one of a kind and his creations have left the world a more beautiful place.

Morrow Jones states "As a mixed media fiber artist and storyteller, I resonate with this tribute to fiber artist Sue Cavanaugh."

Join the Riffe Gallery on Zoom on Tuesday, September 9, from 11 a.m. to noon for Linda Leviton's Artist Talk, part of the "A Common Thread" exhibition.

Leviton states, “The train is a combination of a covering and ceremonial robe, created using piecing—a mark of quilting—small pieces to make a whole. The lengthy fringe is embellished with crystals and threads to represent and mark the long hours of crafting such a garment and a way to echo the elaborate stitching on the dress. ”
