In this 1944 photograph, Georgia O’Keeffe brushes her hair during a camping trip.

While living in New Mexico, O’Keeffe regularly explored the landscape through frequent camping trips, and her treks inspired hundreds of paintings. Whether sleeping beneath the open sky atop her roof or pitching a tent in the wilderness, O’Keeffe cherished nights outdoors. As she wrote to Alfred Stieglitz on July 16, 1929, “…I must have some nights out under the stars—if the stars will be kind enough to shine on me.”

As some of you may know, I am slowly liquidating my personal art collection. Some pieces, of course, will remain in my family’s hands, and some important pieces have gone to dear friends and great collectors (thank you!!). This is not a desperate act, just a timely one. For more personal info, feel free to reach out.

I have updated my website with work available for sale on the “resale” page. Also interspersed in a few or the artist pages are works I own and are for sale. While I believe all artwork needs to maintain the integrity of its pricing, I am willing to negotiate, only because I want the art to go to people who will love and care for it as I have.

So honored to have represented David!!

Today, we honor and celebrate the wonder-filled life of David Hostetler. Dec 27th marks his 99th heavenly Birthday.
David was an artist, a creative, a sculptor, a printmaker, a professor, a husband, a friend, and an inspiration to all.

David Hostetler’s whole life was the pursuit of an artistic vision. His unique style is one of a kind and his creations have left the world a more beautiful place.

Happy Birthday David!
