💡From the archives💜

We started in 2012 as a response to Domestic Violence Awareness. We had many teachers enter in along the way to assist in pushing this mission forward. We don’t just mean “dance teachers” , but also community leaders, advocate’s, mentors and other types of educators. Our impact spans beyond dance, technique and weekly classes, we stood and still stand for raising awareness for issues the often plague the community. This group of dancers, as well as many others helped to move it forward.

Throwback to 2017. Here we grow again. Thank you to our community and those surrounding it.

Let’s Get to Know Ms. Mackenzie! ✨

Meet Ms. Mackenzie Leger, our Contemporary & Ballet Instructor at FTLOD! 💜💛

Mackenzie is a passionate dance educator who believes in developing the artist and the athlete through technical precision, emotional depth, and a strong understanding of the body.

With a focus on anatomical alignment, injury prevention, and intentional training, she empowers dancers to not only move beautifully but also understand the “why” behind their movement.

Let’s get to know Mr. Joshua and learn what to expect from his Hip-Hop class in Season 15! 🕺🏽🔥

Mr. Joshua Pryor is a Hip-Hop choreographer from Cincinnati, Ohio. He began dancing at 16, inspired by the legendary Michael Jackson. Through studying Michael Jackson’s artistry and movement, Joshua developed his own signature style with a focus on individuality, honesty, and self-expression.

He also spent 7–8 years choreographing for the Findlay Street Neighborhood House Summer Camp, continuing his passion for using dance to connect, inspire, and empower others.
