MAFest 2.0 2026 Recap
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, the community came together for an unforgettable day of music, culture, creativity, and connection at MAFest 2.0. The festival brought together artists, performers, families, vendors, and supporters from across the region to celebrate the power of the arts and the spirit of community by honoring Ma Rainey Mother of the Blues.
To every artist and musician that participated we thank you for your time and commitment.
MAFest 2.0 a tremendous success.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Columbus Jazz Society for serving as our host. Their commitment to preserving and promoting the arts continues to make a meaningful impact throughout our community. MAFest 2.0 would not have been possible without the generous hospitality and partnership of the Columbus Jazz Society.
We also offer special thanks to Dr. Cathy Cook and the Levitt Foundation for their invaluable sponsorship and support. Their investment in arts programming and community engagement helped bring this vision to life and ensured that MAFest 2.0 could be enjoyed by attendees of all ages. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Cook's leadership and for the Levitt Foundation's ongoing dedication to expanding access to the arts.
The success of MAFest 2.0 reflects the collective effort of our volunteers, performers, vendors, sponsors, partners, and attendees. Every contribution helped create a vibrant and welcoming environment that celebrated creativity, diversity, and community pride.
Hosted annually on the historic grounds of the Liberty Theater we are reimagining a bright future ahead!!!! thank you for providing staging and thank you for sound, staff and security.
