Knowing who you are is the beginning of direction.
If you felt called out or called forward, you should probably read my new writing.
"Built by Few, Carried by Many"
There are two types of people moving through this world, and every person feels the pull of one path more than the other. Not because one is higher or lower, but because each reflects a different truth about who we are as individuals.
Some people are contributors. They strengthen what matters. They join work they believe in and make it better. They give form to vision, stability to movement, and momentum to ideas that would stall without them. They are the force that turns potential into power. Their power is in commitment and refinement. Their value is undeniable. Nothing endures without contributors.
Some people are creators. They feel the itch of possibility. They sense the shape of things that do not exist yet. They move first, often alone, driven by an inner signal that says the world can be expanded. They are architects of beginnings and stewards of risk. Their power is in initiation and imagination. Their value is undeniable. Nothing new is born without creators.
Your task is not to fit into someone else’s expectation of who you should be. Your task is to recognize where your energy naturally flows. Do you come alive when you join and strengthen a purpose you believe in? Or do you come alive when you carve a path no one has laid before you? Both require heart. Both require discipline. Both shape the world in different ways.
There is courage in naming your role out loud. There is strength in choosing it with intention. When you stop comparing paths and start honoring your own, you become sharper. You become clearer. You become someone who moves with integrity instead of insecurity.
Contributors keep meaning alive. Creators bring meaning into being.
The world needs both, but only you can decide which one you are.
And once you do, everything you touch gains direction.
