This past week has been a blur, but all great! I’ve been involved with two inter-related group art shows at First Community Village in Columbus. Dawn and I assisted with organizing a group show spotlighting NLAPW, a national arts league in which we have both been local Presidents. Fifteen of our artists and authors are exhibited in the hallways until October 30th. Dawn and I spoke at an educational lecture about our involvement locally and nationally.
In addition we were specially invited to take part at an event where we were honored to exhibit around a dozen of our works at a facility-wide reception. The turnout was amazing and the interaction so fun!

My other encaustic work on display 24” x 24” will be available at Argo & Lehne Jewelers until January 4th, 2027!

Here's what Bob and I saw at the Rosengart Collection in Lucerne, Switzerland. We had a few hours of free time, and heard from two of our other travelling companions (who both worked in the arts at two separate Smithsonian Institutes in D.C.) that this art collection was outstanding. The collection was a subjective curation "assembled with the heart" by Seigfried Rosengart and his daughter, Angela. Along with Picasso and Klee, the collection puts a clear emphasis on Classic Modernism.
We were all surprised about the size and quality of their collection, and enjoyed the many personal photos of Picasso and one of his wives, Jaqueline, in his later years of production. We saw works by Chagall, Miro, Braque, Monet, Modigilani, Matisse, Cezanne, Vuillard and Bonnard. It was wonderful to view them with others who had an art background to share our personal reactions with each other.
