Work in progress. Not sure how the orange extension cord made it from memory to paint. I used to go to job sites with my father, I was in charge of running the shop vac and sweeping. Memories are just amazing to me, how do our minds pick out small moments to keep while others evaporate? Being here I’ve had the time and space to be inspired and work out new ideas. Feeling so thankful.

I’ve been reading some mythology and looking at goddesses from around the globe-this week - these were created free form ( from imagination) not from images. I was playing with creating abstract paintings and seeing if any people or animals show themselves in the work. The figure on the left is turning to stone, while the figure on the right flees.
