Today, on National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we honor the resilience of our community while staying focused on the work that still lies ahead. With gay and bisexual men accounting for 79.8% of new HIV diagnoses in the US in 2024, taking charge of our sexual health remains as essential as ever. Standing together means ending the stigma surrounding HIV by making routine testing, open conversations, and access to care an everyday part of our heath routines. Let’s continue to uplift, support, and protect one another. Caring for our health is one of the most powerful ways we stand proud.
