*BREATHES IN* Mmmm! That sweet smell of fall in the air! 🍂 🍁 We had such a wonderful time at Helmi's Gardens Fall Festival today! Little sprinkling this morning and then turned into a beautiful day! There were pumpkins galore, face painting, vendors, artists, a food truck and not to mention butterflies and hummingbirds flying all about!

We won't be there, but the fun continues tomorrow! We highly reccomend grabbing your Pumpkin Spice Latte and heading over there 🎃 😋

Huge thank you to Helmi, Sam, and the team for hosting such a wonderful event! 👏

Sometimes you just need a little whimsy in your life ✨️ That's what this new piece did for me!

Since we've had our son, it's been a bit challenging to find a bunch of time to draw all the things I have planned to draw, so picking something simple yet meaningful has been top on the priority list when it comes to creating new art.

James and the Giant Peach has always been a favorite story of mine. There's something about his escape from the loneliness and oppression he suffered at the hands of his family, venturing into the unknown, overcoming all obstacles, and meeting the bestest of friends in the most unlikely way that has always resonated with me.

My son also shares the name James, so I often find myself singing My Name is James to him, even though it's his middle name.

I don't know about you, but I love this piece.
