Merriam-Webster’s definition of abstract is “expressing a quality apart from an object. So many people have “abstract” tattoos. There will always be something about your body art that can express who you are apart from everyone else, which is a big reason a lot people decide to get tattooed, to separate themselves from the rest of the crowd. Another definition for abstract is; “difficult to understand”. There may be something about your tattoos, your style, or personality that everyone else just has a time understanding. If you’ve been tattooed you may have experienced someone ask you what the meaning of your tattoo is. Sure there can be a deep explanation, or a specific reason as to why. Surely though, you can always tell someone that’s it’s just abstract, set apart, different because you are. • • • It doesn’t matter wether you have a single tattoo, a large sleeve, or multiple tattoos all over, you are an abstract person. Sometimes when you cover up an old tattoo the scar carries over. As you can see in this tattoo there is a visible reminder of what was behind the new ink. A memory that won’t be forgotten, an experience that can’t be wiped away. • • What’s offered at that makes our tattoo experience different? Value. Understanding. Compassion and passion. .by.ozzy has a specific niche for coverups. Ozzy understands that some cover ups just won’t perfectly hide what has been. But he can take an intimate personal artwork and transform what was into something more beautiful and brilliant. • • The person who has this cover up done had a tattoo that involved an expired relationship. Ozzy was able to take his clients past and put a new light into it. He explained that the old tattoo in this coverup may be stilled be raised because of how his old tattoo artist treated his skin, how the scar tissue was deep, and how the old ink was different entirely than the new ink. Thanks to Ozzy’s knowledge in tattoo experience and understanding, the client was aware of what would happen in a cover up and made personal adjustments to showcase his story on his skin. He was left smiling and thankful!
