We love this quote by Beethoven!

We just had a recital a couple of weeks ago, and it was a lot fun. At her lesson the following week, a student expressed her disappointment at having "messed up" at the recital. When I told her it was ok, and that I had "messed up" too, a look of surprise mixed with relief came over her face. Yes, it helps to play the right notes at the right time, but what really makes the performance is the expression and emotion - passion.
