The Bend continues to take shape as a transformative riverfront destination for Chattanooga.

Urban Story Ventures' announcement of the $350M retail and residential district reinforces what we've known from day one—this site has the potential to reshape downtown and position Chattanooga as a premier destination in the Southeast.

The scale is significant. Over 1,000 jobs, $100M+ in projected gross sales, and a curated mix of national and regional retail and dining concepts. This isn't incremental development—it's transformational.

The timing aligns. Construction on their district begins in 2027 with fall 2028 completion—right alongside our amphitheater coming online in late 2028. That convergence creates real momentum.

We're proud to be building VENU's $300M entertainment venue as part of this larger vision. A world-class live entertainment destination needs a world-class destination around it. Chattanooga is getting both.

The music world lost one of its greatest pioneers today. Dolly showed all of us what it really means to build something from nothing. She created an empire that spanned music, business, film, and philanthropy all while staying true to who she was. She never forgot where she came from and she never played it safe. That’s rare. That’s what separated her from everyone else. She’ll be missed, but her legacy is cemented. Rest well, Dolly.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm really excited about this one. Lynyrd Skynyrd at Ford Amphitheater on September 19. These guys are legends — and when you get the chance to see legends live, you show up!

How awesome was that show last night! Sammy Hagar brought the house down at Ford Amphitheater! First time he’s played the Springs since 1979 and the crowd showed up ready! He had the band locked in, played all the hits and gave everything he had. That’s a show worth remembering!
