✴️ NEW THIS YEAR: Our A.I. Policy ✴️
As attendees of various craft fairs, art markets, & patrons of local small businesses ourselves, it's disappointing that we've seen A.I. infiltrating many of these places once only full of handcrafted goods. So this year, we're starting an A.I. policy which applies to Exhibitors, folks who come to trade zines, or leave freebies on our community table:

PPZF values, supports, and creates a platform for sharing art made by humans. PLEASE DO NOT BRING AI-GENERATED “ART” TO OUR EVENT. If you are found to have AI-generated materials at your table or left with our community freebies, you may be barred from participating in our event again. Exceptions include examples of AI-generated materials for educational purposes, i.e. how to spot AI zines.

It’s time to re-introduce ourselves for all the new folx 👋 . We're back to it being only the 2 of us running PPZF since our friend Liz moved out of state, so we appreciate the patience and enthusiasm you show us every year!

Jennifer Eltringham (she/her) has been organizing zine events and workshops in Colorado Springs since 2019. If you run into her, ask her about the moon, Jeopardy, and possums, North America’s only native marsupial. She has been working on the same zine for the better part of a year now, committing wholeheartedly to slow making (or something like that).

Choo (she/they) is originally from Hawai‘i, started making zines in college in Chicago, and has been an independent artist in Colorado Springs since 2017. Kels works as a self-publisher of comics/illustration, and has been exhibiting at small press events for over 10 years now. Their favorite zines are about creatures; real or mythical.⁠
