**UPDATE: GOAL MET!**

Many of you have seen the negative and hateful comments about the 4th Annual Abilene Pride Parade & Festival. While those words can’t break our spirit, they do remind us of how important it is to keep our community safe. Your safety, and the safety of every person who comes to celebrate with us, is our deepest priority.

To make that happen, we need extra security this weekend. APD charges $60 per hour per officer, and with our limited funds, we can’t meet this need on our own.

That’s why we’re reaching out to you—our community, our chosen family. Every single dollar donated will go directly toward protecting the space where we get to be free, joyful, and unapologetically ourselves.

If you’re able, please give what you can and share this with others who believe in love, safety, and Pride. Together, we can ensure that this weekend is not only a celebration, but a safe haven for all of us. 🏳️‍🌈✨
