Fade to Black Dance Ensemble

Fade to Black is the premiere hip hop dance ensemble on Texas A&M University's campus.

Fade to Black promotes diversity through dance and service while adding support and awareness of cultures at Texas A&M University and in the surrounding communities. Fade to Black Dance Ensemble was founded in 1991 on the campus of Texas A&M University by several young African-American women. Since it's birth, Fade to Black's diversity has grown by leaps and bounds including members from all over

the world and from many different backgrounds; it is that appreciation of an individual's uniqueness and culture that makes F2B a stand-out and stand-up organization. Today, Fade to Black has had the honor of performing at many of Texas A&M's events such as Fish Camp, Songfest, EXCEL conference, and Aggie Ring days, just to name a few. F2B has always been well known for the unique hip-hop dances that define its cultural basis however, members of Fade to Black are always versatile. Fade to Black has branched out to many different styles including: Hip-hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Pointe, Salsa, and African. Fade to Black will continue on this path to success while promoting diversity through dance and service while adding support and awareness of cultures at Texas A&M University and in the surrounding communities.
