🍺🇩🇪 Oktoberfest 2025 – A Huge Success! 🎶🎉
What an unforgettable day at the Cold Spring Area Maennerchor Oktoberfest this past Saturday! From start to finish, the River Lakes Civic Arena in Richmond was alive with music, laughter, dancing, and the true spirit of Bavarian celebration.
Hundreds of people came out to join in the festivities, making this year’s Oktoberfest our biggest and best yet. Guests enjoyed authentic German food and drink, from brats and sauerkraut to warm pretzels, strudel, and of course, a wide variety of specialty Oktoberfest beers from across the state. 🍻
The Tim Jarnot Polka Band kept the crowd moving all evening with lively polkas, waltzes, and sing-along favorites, while the Maennerchor choir added their signature German songs that brought heritage and tradition to life.
The contests were a highlight of the evening, with enthusiastic participation in the Stein Holding Competition, Pretzel Eating Contest, Polka Dance Contest, and of course, the lively Costume Contest where lederhosen and dirndls stole the show. Families enjoyed kids’ games and activities, making it a truly all-ages celebration.
We’re grateful for the extraordinary community spirit that made this event possible—from the volunteers who transformed the Civic Arena into a Bavarian masterpiece, to the musicians, singers, and guests who brought the energy and joy.
👏 A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Cold Spring Maennerchor Oktoberfest. Together, we celebrated tradition, created memories, and strengthened community ties.
