Dear Precious Ones,
I am writing a group message as it is not possible for me to respond individually much as I want to do so. i WILL POST THE SAME MESSAGE ON rhm FACEBOOK AND 4TH OF jULY pARADE PAGE. This is not the news we hoped for, yet we accept our Lord’s will.You have asked for updates:
Returned from UofW brain tumor center this week. Will meet with tumor board next Weds. Possible details MRI to get more information in 2 weeks.
Osmotic Demyelination of Corpus Callosum.
Effects all function between left and right side of brain.
Dr. gave some clarity to the situation yet no definitive results yet.
Too deep for surgery. No chemo due to low blood counts. Radiation not likely due to placement.
Clarity-may be cancer tumor or damage from 12 years of treatments
Either way, it is Permanent brain damage. Will continue to get progressively worse
o Balance is off.
Not able to walk in a straight line. Stumbling and running into walls etc.
No reflexes in lower left leg, foot,
Numb in feet, ankles
o Hearing loss
o Fatigue and Weakness
o Headaches
o Constant sinus and coughing
o Sight loss
Fuzzy, double vision,
Glasses create problems
o Bad taste
o Low appetite
o Confused thinking – Cognitive loss
o Noises in head high pitched like the ice cream truck music notes and low grind like a skill saw
o Repetitive comments “I don’t’ know” “OK”
o Extremely low blood counts – Pancytopenia
o 4 months of constant coughing is not related to brain damage. Hoping to get scheduled for sinus surgery.
Next steps –
Determine if the growth is cancerous or is a result of many years of chemo treatments. Either way it is permanent brain damage
If the board decides there are more options, we will have to look for cheap place a place to stay in Seattle. Hahahahah!
