May 23rd we are hosting the Great Lakes Regional Burlypicks. A Midwest regional Burlesque competition for the best of the best! Over 20 performers in 6 categories battle for the gold. Who will represent the Midwest for the finals?

Categories:

Classic -Parade and Peel, Bump and Grind, Tassels, Boas, Fans, Comedy in the “traditional glamour style”

Neo Classic – Dance, Fans, Boas, Tassels, Assels, Comedy with a “modern style” of st******se. i.e. modern music, less traditional

Neo Art – Performance Art, Edgy, Thought Provoking, Comedic.

Pop Culture- Cosplay, Nerdlesque, Theatrical, Comedic, Character Driven

Variety – Contortion, Comedy, Drag, Vocal, Roping, etc.
