For those just a bit south of us!
Super short notice, we know. Trump's coming to Northern Kentucky tomorrow.
We know most resistance groups already have their NO KINGS events locked in for this weekend, but if you're in Northern Kentucky or the Cincinnati area and you're free Saturday morning, here's something you can do. Any organizers out there? It's not hard to plan these, but timing is tight.
Trump is holding a midterm rally tomorrow, October 17th, at Truist Arena on the Northern Kentucky University campus in Highland Heights. Doors open at 10 AM, and he's scheduled to speak at 2 PM.
Cincinnati, it's right across the river! It's too far for our crew, maybe someone can plan something? If you go, a suggestion: protesters usually start setting up about a half hour before doors open, so around 9:30 AM, and wrap up once the motorcade's inside.
Keep it safe and peaceful:
✅ Nonviolent, always. No exceptions.
✅ Stay on public sidewalks. Campus grounds may have their own event-day rules, so check NKU's guidance.
✅ Don't block roads, driveways, or entrances.
✅ Don't engage rally-goers or counter-protesters. Let your signs do the talking.
✅ Follow police instructions, and stay calm.
✅ Dress in layers, it'll be in the low 40s at setup with a north wind. Bring gloves, hand warmers, something hot to drink, and a buddy. Nobody goes alone.
✅ If things get tense, walk away. Leaving is a win, not a loss.
Side note for the MAGA folks going inside: Truist Arena capacity is nearly 10,000. This is a guy who used to draw tens of thousands. Now he's filling about half the seats at a 5,700-seat hockey arena in Youngstown, and he barely filled a 4,500-seat high school gym in Vandalia. Those claims of thousands turned away? Flat out false. We were protesting right there and could see the lines. So here's a challenge. Do one slow pan of the whole arena, floor to upper deck, all the way around. Prove us wrong. We'll wait.
Trump isn't on the ballot in November, but Trumpism sure is. Early voting is underway across most of the country. Vote early
