🚨 BATTLE OF THE POP TITANS 🚨

Apparently Tricky Dick and The Cover Ups think playing outside at 8PM makes them the headliner.

That’s adorable.

Saturday night at The Cove, the self-appointed kings of cargo shorts will warm up the parking lot with all your favorite songs from the glove compartment of a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Then at 9PM, the doors to the MainStage open.

That’s when five men in pink shirts armed with Britney, Gaga, Kesha, Kelly and an absolutely unjustified amount of confidence show them what a pop show looks like.

Today we wish a very Happy Birthday to a founding member of the band - the mighty engine of Tricky Dick & the Cover-Ups - Matt Johnson! On stage he's a triple threat who keeps us locked in tight on the drums, sings leads and harmonies (including the best Lil Jon impression in the Midwest), and also runs the light show in real time. We still haven't figured out how he pulls it off every night, but he always kills it!

When he's not helping to keep the dance floor full at a Tricky Dick show, he's spending quality time with his family and taking care of business at his day gig. He's also the band's accountant - this dude wears a ton of hats!

Here's to another year of rock n' roll shenanigans - we love ya Matt!
