🎶✨ Throwback to an unforgettable week in Chicago! ✨🎶

From July 8-12, 2026, We had the privilege of attending Power in Harmony, the 14th Sister Singers Network Choral Festival, hosted by Artemis Singers, Chicago's Le***an Feminist Chorus, at Loyola University Lakeshore Campus.

What an incredible experience filled with music, learning, connection, and community. Surrounded by talented voices from across the country, We were reminded of the power of coming together in harmony, not just as singers, but as a supportive and uplifting network.

Grateful for the friendships made, the songs shared, and the memories that continue to inspire me months later. 💜🎤

It takes a village - and an incredible artistic team - to make Windsong sing. 💜

Swipe through to meet two vital leaders shaping our sound this season: Assistant Artistic Director Katherine Smith and Choral Music Intern Natalia Stojkovic! Whether recording learning tracks, leading rehearsals and sectionals, or stepping onto the podium to conduct our choir in concert, Katherine and Natalia bring so much skill, warmth, and care to our musical family.

Katherine Smith | Assistant Artistic Director
Katherine holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Voice Performance and has worked for a decade in arts administration. She has been singing with Windsong since the fall of 2024 and stepped into the Assistant Director role in July 2025.

Natalia Stojkovic | Choral Music Education Intern
Raised in Buffalo, NY, Natalia is a choral music education student at Case Western Reserve University. Inspired by mentors from a young age, she aspires to use music as a tool to foster deep connection and community.

In June 2027, Windsong will travel to New York City for a multi-day choral residency, culminating in a historic performance on the legendary Carnegie Hall stage. Our singers will collaborate with fellow choristers and bring Windsong’s feminist mission and music to one of the most iconic venues in the world.

But this residency isn’t just about singing on a storied stage. It’s about rewriting who gets to stand on it. It’s proof of what happens when a community shows up for one another and insists that every voice matters.

That’s why we created the Carnegie Hall Equity Fund. We are fully committed to making sure every singer in Windsong can take that stage in June 2027 - without financial barriers in the way.

Windsong Cleveland’s 3rd Annual Spooky CaBOOret Fundraiser is back, and it’s going to be a wickedly good time! Join us for a night of music, laughs, and Halloween fun at CLE Urban Winery !

Here’s what’s brewing:
🎶 "Miscast" Featured Artists – Singers flipping the script with songs typically sung by another gender or outside their usual style!
🎤 Karaoke – Grab the mic and show us what you’ve got!

One of our very own singers - Charlie from our soprano 1 section - is putting so much time and love into handcrafting this gorgeous queen-sized quilt, and we’re raffling it off to help with our Carnegie Hall travel fund!

Getting a whole chorus to NYC is definitely an uphill climb, and we’re doing our best to make the trip as accessible as possible for all of our members. Every raffle ticket helps ease the cost a little bit. The details:

What a gift to share space and sound this past Friday at the Cleveland Community Choral Festival!

From diving into workshops on the aging voice, vocal health, and solfege, to sharing the stage for an incredible mini concert at , the room was overflowing with harmony. The absolute highlight? Joining voices with Good Company: A Vocal Ensemble, , and the UUCC Chancel Choir for a massive final group sing.

Thank you to everyone who came out to learn, listen, and sing your hearts out. Cleveland’s choral community is something truly special.

A transformative weekend for Windsong!

Last weekend our new Board of Directors gathered for a dedicated training retreat at facilitated by non-profit consultant and GALA 411 advisor, Eve Campbell.

With decades of choral leadership - including serving as longtime Executive Director of The Women’s Chorus of Dallas and past president of the GALA Choruses board - Eve brought incredible expertise to our team. Throughout the weekend, we focused on:

🎶 Best practices in non-profit governance
🎶 Strengthening our leadership community
🎶 Fundraising 101

To make the visit even sweeter, Eve joined us in the community to catch a Windsong performance live!

We are so proud to be a member chorus of and grateful for the invaluable GALA 411 program. Working with Eve was a delight, leaving our board energized, unified, and inspired as we step into our next chapter.
