Chad Greenwald is a performer and educator located in the midwest. Chad Greenwald has played extensively in every genre of popular music today.

He has shared the stage with The Roots, Lalah Hathaway, Keane, Talib Kweli, Othello Mollineaux, Joe Lovano, Flogging Molly, and has worked with or members of Walk the Moon, OAR, Styx, Bad Company, Stevie Wonder, Ian Hunter, Allen Stone, Gwar
Bobaflex, the Exies, American Head Charge and Bone Thugs 'N' Harmony. Chad currently performs with the dance band, Zack Attack. He also works with the Newark

Granville Symphony, Central Ohio Symphony, and Capriccio Vocal Ensemble. He as well continues to freelance around the country with many different artists. Chad made his Hollywood debut in the Fall of 2015, when he appeared in "Miles Ahead" starring Don Cheadle and Ewan MacGregor, with a soundtrack scored by Herbie Hancock and Robert Glasper. The past few months have been insane, beautiful chaos. The kids celebrated their 10th birthday. We traveled all over the country. I started seeing someone. I discovered that I love gardening. Whether it be sharing a meal, a bittersweet memory, a great show, or trying something new and exhilarating, I am so thankful for the adventures and our support system.l, which has allowed me to find myself again. The last several years have been devastatingly hard, but we have experienced so much love and compassion from so, so many. To get through these trying times, I would have never been able to make it without our community.

Thank you to my family and friends for being there to support the children and I. We are coming out from the other side, and I just want the world to know that we are forever grateful.

Be on the lookout for some new, incredible, exciting news.

It is the end of an era. Keyona and I loved this tree. We built our entire backyard around it. The disease spread and we were unable to save it, despite our greatest efforts. We tried, and even worked with specialized arborists, but the disease was just too much. This maple was a mirror to our lives and is so deeply rooted in the life of our family. This tree will live another life though. With the help of a trusted luthier, this wood will be built into multiple instruments and a family dinner table.

Really proud of Sophia! She just got into Ohio State's School of Music on the bass. I have taught her since 5th grade, and it is just really exciting to see her thrive. And yes, that's a sigma look.

We have been playing some pretty remarkable venues over the last several months. This was from last night at --- last week, we played --- and in a few weeks, we are playing the . We are very lucky to be able to have worked these incredible venues.

Feeling a bit sentimental tonight. When we went to NYC this past summer, I was able to meet up with two of Keyona's students. Morgan, was in one of Keyona's first graduating classes, while Lucy was in her last. This moment when they met meant everything to me.

These two share the same open-heartedness, love, charity, equity and kindness that was at the core of everything that Keyona valued and taught.

They are filled with a love and a levity that is so profound, and are able to communicate this message through their own prisms reflecting into this world that sometimes can be so dark and challenging.

Morgan and Lucy are part of Keyona's ripple, and being able to see the joy that they live with is awe-inspiring and truly a wonder to behold. I am so thankful that I get to be a part of their lives, and see the evolution of Keyona's message grow and touch other generations.

I love these two, and am so glad to be able to call them family.

So last night was a thing. I just want to say thank you to the and for having us perform. Playing a stadium was a pretty cool vibe and something on my bucket list. I hear there might be another possibility of this happening again in the spring.
