We could not be more proud of the participants of our Bailes Folkloricos de México workshop. They worked so hard, came to practice every week and put on a beautiful performance/demonstration.

Thank you IRTF - The InterReligious Task Force on Central America for having us and considering us your partners. We were honored to be there.

Thank you Nalleli and Lilly for sharing your passion, knowledge and time to this workshop. We are so very proud of you both and thankful for all you have done for AVCYM and the community.

This workshop is meant to pass on the skills and tradition of baile folklorico so that it continues to thrive in our city, and it is doing just that!

AlmaVison: Cultura y Más will be present along with our Bailes Folkloricos de México workshop. We are so thankful for our instructors Lilly and Nalleli who have a lifetime of experience and especially our dancers who have been working hard for tonight's demonstration.

Last night's reading of Star Crossed by Lionel Morales was truly something special. Congratulations to Lionel and the wonderfully talented cast. This was the first reading in our series titled Emerging Artist Theatre Series. We went through a last minute venue changed but it all came together beautifully.

Thanks so very much to the cast, our board and volunteers. Thanks to everyone who came out to support. Let's do it again with the 2nd reading in our series in late July and early August.

These images were taken by photographer Raya Hall who happened to be walking by our Bailes Folklóricos de México rehearsal. Thank you for stopping by and sending us these beautiful images.

AlmaVision: Cultura y Más was formed to create opportunities such as this for our community and for all who are interested in sharing in our culture and traditions.

The main goal of this workshop is to teach the artform so that it continues to thrive in our city. We feel it is our responsibility to pass on this knowledge to younger generations so that they can continue representing our culture proudly through Bailes Folklóricos.

And what amazing teachers we have! Lilly and Nalleli are sharing a lifetime of knowledge and experience through these workshops. We are also very proud of our participants who are putting in the work and acquiring these tools to carry on this tradition.
