The Full Cleveland

The Full Cleveland "The Full Cleveland", an all day excursion across the city, from one end of town to the other. There is no set route, and no other agenda.

For fall, we'll be walking the on the east side on Saturday October 18th. 12 hours experiencing many different aspects of a fantastic city; Cleveland. Less directed than a hike, more vigorous than a walk, an urban experience of sights and sounds and tastes and friends. For spring of 2021, we'll be walking the entire Cleveland Cultural Gardens and we'll be featuring the countries and communities r

epresented by the gardens on the page. Our walk is on Saturday April 17, from 8am to 7pm. You can join us for the whole day, or for any part of it you'd like. Check our event page to sign up.

What a great night at Wizbang Theatre yesterday and Kensington Pub!
Hand cut Reuben and turkey Reuben sandwiches, great drinks at Kensington. (Boss Dog Brewing Company didn't work out because they had a huge unexpected party there last night)
Then, an absolutely magical time at Wizbang Theatre with friends from the Full Cleveland and others. Mark Prines illusionist act was impressive! And the venue was intimate, charming, and oozing with fun!

So many thanks for making yesterday's walk another successful Full Cleveland!
*Doug Horner for driving our food and getting us bathroom breaks!
*J Shorey and Mark Prines for setting up the tour of the Foundry Artist Building
*Megan McKinnon for the tour of the Collaboration Center
*Duncan at Dunham Tavern for coming in to give us a personalized tour on a Saturday.
Steve Sefchik for putting together maps.
Farmhouse Food Distributors for the best seafood in the city!
Mary's Diner, the best greasy spoon in the city for breakfast on the fly!
Black Frog Brewery and Pearl's Kitchen for a perfect landing spot at the end of the day!
MLK Public Library for the use of your bathrooms!
for tightening up the neighborhoods over the last few years. Though there's a long way to go on the sidewalks, the pavement, sidewalk corners, and even the brick paved streets looked great!
The neighborhoods! Lee-Miles, Corlett, Union Miles Park, Woodland Hills, Kinsman, Fairfax, Central, Midtown! We might have hit bits of Buckeye-Shaker and Hough as well!
Thanks for all the people who walked with us! By my count, 29 people joined us for at least part of the journey. What a great day!

I won't be in town on this day, but it's a fascinating view of what used to be daily life in Cleveland.
I hope someday that we start using this truly unique feature of our downtown.

A fascinating look at Cleveland from the 30's! Look at all the men wearing hats! Can you identify the streets?
