Good evening Haunters, it's time for another History lesson! I have said that this is a fundraiser and that the money raised goes to either a non-profit organization or a private individual, typically someone that has cancer helping them with expenses that come along with it. Some amounts raised in the past have been $642 for our very dear friend Val Semrad to help with her cancer costs, $425 for K9S For Warriors, and for @ least 2 yrs we raised $200-$300 each time for The Scrub Jay Consortium I don't remember the true amounts for them to be honest but I know it was close to that. The third year we had an event for them we had very poor attendance and only raised $100. When you do come parking is always free and money from admission to the Haunted House, Haunted Hayride, and all food & drink sold goes to the named organization or person.
