Witches Hat Clay Workshop

In this fun and creative clay workshop you will learn how to create your own clay Witches Hat that can reflect candlelight through cutout details. Whether you prefer a classic black Witches hat, bold colors, or whimsical details, you’ll have the opportunity to personalize your handmade hat and make it truly one of a kind.
Our step-by-step instruction makes the class approachable for all skill levels—no prior clay experience is needed, really! We’ll provide all the clay, tools, and materials so you can relax, get creative, and enjoy the process.
This workshop gives you plenty of time to build and decorate your hat while learning basic hand-building techniques along the way. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop concludes.
Come get creative, work with your hands, and leave with a functional handmade piece perfect for your home or as a unique gift.

The bowls from the classes last week are ready to be fired in the kiln. No slipping, no scoring, we pressed "rivets" into the connection points.

Week two of the six week session and we are making coil and slab fruit bowls. We are using a new technique that doesn’t require the scoring and slip method we are used to. Very delicate pieces.

Our first week of class we created plates that were decorated with underglaze transfers.

We will be at The Handmade Experience in Alvarado, Tx on Saturday, October 3rd alongside other great artists offering amazing, hands-on workshops. Let's make clay earrings together!

We are offering one hour workshops throughout the day. Make up to 6 pair of earrings in a variety of patterns. All the supplies are included in the $50 workshop fee. Choose from 5 different time slots - 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm & 6pm.
