Here's a grail piece for some of you collectors out there- Linneaus's two-toed sloth (Choloepus didactylus). Beetle cleaned and degreased, but unwhitened. Complete minus the claws. Has one broken canine and premolar; happened before death as they've got wear on them. Fun fact, their teeth are all dentin, no enamel and continue growing throughout their life like rodents. Anyways, this guy is available for $850 insured shipping included. US only, PayPal preferred.

Pretty happy with this little guy so far; almost done. Smooth-fronted caiman or Schneider's dwarf caiman (Paleosuchus trigonatus) It's about 14-15" currently, specimen was just around 19" straightened out.

Got a few more little dudes up for grabs starting with some more Jackson's chameleons. They're beetled and complete with the exception of #7+8. Also have a couple Blue-tongue skinks and a Monkey-tailed skink that were beetled and degreased in acetone, but have not been whitened. Degreased the mystery snake while I was at it (still think it's an ATB). I have a free-standing articulated Yellow Uromastyx left since someone had me hold it and then never paid. Got some Yellow Uromastyx finished up. The smaller ones are in 8x10" shadow boxes. Those are all sold now. Two Fennec fox skeletons (left one is sold). Both beetled, degreased, and whitened. Both males, and include baculum. The older male (right) has a lot of naturally missing teeth, but appears otherwise great. Other male is naturally missing a single tooth (socket completely healed over) and is complete except distals/claws. $350 from me in Florida to your door. US only, PayPal preferred.

Been a pretty lucky week. I'm super chuffed about getting this (can you tell we've been watching a lot of 'The Great British Baking Show'?) old Globe Wernicke barrister. It definitely has seen some s**t and needs a little TLC, but for 150 bucks, I sure as hell ain't complaining!! Now, what to put in it?

Awesome little Fennec fox 🦊 skull I just finished with an interesting pathology. Severely infected ear where a lot of the bone was eaten away. Super cool skull though. Has all teeth and turbinates too. $420 to your door in the U.S.

Swim you little fu***rs! Ok, maybe too late for swimming lessons. 😟 Yes, I left the skin on these and processed them. I don't see it very often and wanted to see how larger size specimens worked. Different protocol and all that, but doable. :)

Today's skull is another pretty common one, the North American porcupine (Erethizon dorsatum). You might have asked yourself how they keep from stabbing themselves and the subsequent worry of infection. Fun fact, they're quills are coated with fatty acids that naturally inhibit bacterial growth.

Today's skull is a Red squirrel (Tamiasciurus hudsonicus). This is the North American one, as there is also an unrelated Eurasian species with the same common name.

Today's skull is a Southern bog lemming (Synaptomys cooperi). They're cute lil guys. I like specimens like this one where I have a good bit of collection data. Also, anyone else remember when Disney killed a bunch of these faking a documentary perpetuating the myth they commit mass su***de migrating off cliffs? Pepperidge Farm remembers!

Got a couple things up for grabs here tonight. First up, I've got three articulated BP skeletons. Looking for $100 each shipped on those. Lastly, a pretty rare skull... the black-backed jackal (Canis mesomelas) is reasonably common in the trade, but I've rarely seen anyone offer a side-striped jackal (Canis adustus) for sale which is what I've got for sale here. Sadly, most all the turbinates are missing, and there's some splitting on the teeth. One of the incisors is snapped off just above the jaw line and another is half chipped off which I've included pics of. Other than that, this skull is in excellent condition. Both auditory bullae are intact. Looking for $165 for it. Shipping from Florida, US sales only. Paypal preferred.

Today's skull is the Mountain beaver (Aplodontia rufa). Its common name comes from its superficial resemblance to the beaver although they're not closely related. Its teeth are unique among other mammals due to protrusions that are lateral on the upper teeth and medial on the lower.

Today's skull is everyone's favorite dumpster thief, Procyon lotor - the common raccoon. Fun fact, even when it's not a raccoon, it's always a raccoon! Probably the most commonly found skull in the US if you go by people asking for skull IDs online.
