PSA: I just wanted to say how appreciative I am of everyone who recommends me for any form of art commissions-be it a digital piece or a pet portrait or anything else.

Sadly, I’m having to take a step back from commission work for a while due to some health issues that have only worsened over the summer months. It’s a lot to do with my spine and it severely limits a lot of physical activity, including sitting and leaning over to make artwork for other people. (Digital is tricksy, but physical paintings are super impactful on my body.)

I currently have two pet paintings on my to-do list that I will have to tackle at a very slow pace due to these health limitations. The hope is that I’ll have a remedy or some answers by the end of September. Until then you can feel free to message me with inquiries for commissions, but I cannot promise that I will take them on. I have a bad habit of saying I can do something when I really can’t-or rather, shouldn’t.

Thanks again for your support. I am going to do my best to keep the art going as long as I feel up to the task. But for now, I am not accepting new commissions.

A new kind of pet portrait! The patron requested that the kitty be ‘goth’ so I did what I could! (Customizations like that are doable and only an additional $10) Slots are still available!

Starting on the first pet portrait of the season! Honestly with a medium like watercolor you have to trust the process and be patient. Which I find ironic since I am not a patient person whatsoever 🤣 This alone took about 3 hours, and I still have more to do! I’m stil accepting commissions for these! Remember 20% gets donated to help the animals at our local shelters like Humane Society of Clarksville - Montgomery County Puurrrfect Paws Rescue CATS ARE US ! Portraits are either 8x10” for $60 or 9x12” for $80!

ANNOUNCEMENT: I will resume accepting pet portrait commissions starting June 2024! But there’s been a few changes:

-My prices have gone up a bit to factor in sales tax along with the 20% that gets donated to the animal shelter/clinic.

-I will now ONLY do sizes 8x10” or 9x12”

-The 8x10” are $60, and the 9x12” are $80. If this seems pricey to you, keep in mind that after the donation is made (on a $60 purchase it’s $12) and sales tax is deducted (on a $48 remaining total that’s an additional $4.56) I’m only getting $43.44 to give you a portrait that takes me hours to do-and sometimes with not so great reference photos of your pet.

-I use MULTIPLE materials, not just watercolor! I also use ink and colored pencils to add that detail which really enhances the painting!

-These portraits feature one subject per canvas. I will not do multiple pets in the same painting. Consider getting 2 individual portraits and displaying them as a set—I can make their background colors match for this reason!

-If you are not local (in Clarksville TN), you’ll need to cover shipping costs through UPS. USPS has a TERRIBLE problem with shoving and crumpling my paintings when I mail through them 😞

-I request only half the payment up front to secure your place in the list of patrons. I send you the sketch to show you I’ve started, then when it’s done I send a watermarked version. After receiving the second half of the payment (plus shipping if needed) then we can meet up/I ship it to you 🙂

-Remember, this is not exclusive to cats and dogs! ANY animal is fine!

-Shoot me a message now, or you can hit me up in June, if you or someone you know would love to have a painting of their fur baby and know that part of their purchase is helping other animals just like them. ❤️

One final pet portrait for the season! I actually knew and got to love this cat in real life. She was the sweetest and she will be deeply missed. Rest in Peace, Ashley. ❤️

PSA: I am not currently accepting anymore pet portrait commissions in order to make time and space for other creative endeavors such as digital commissions and other crafts. I will open pet portraits back up starting in October of this year as Christmas time is generally the busiest for these babies. Prices will be updated. Stay tuned!
