La Trinità
A few weeks ago our furnace crashed. I used the downtime in the hotshop to make my first glass casting. The Triple goddess is an ancient archetype that has been celebrated across cultures for centuries. A triune of three distinct aspects in one united being; the Maiden, the Mother, and the Mystic, she honors the divine feminine. The Maiden is associated with the waxing moon. She is innocent and untamed - a vivacious huntress. The Mother, associated with the full moon, embodies lust and creation - a nurturer of all life. The mystic, is often the most overlooked and feared aspect of the trinity but perhaps the most powerful. Represented by a waning moon, she is still very much a sensual being and a great bestower of wisdom. She asks us to let go of what we thought we knew - to slip into something more intuitive and magical. Together they form a powerful trio that govern the cycles of life. She is the Jungian triad of deities, the Freudian Id, Ego, and Superego. She is spring, summer, and winter - birth, life, death. The holy trinity, she has no ends, only new beginnings.🌒🌕🌘
