Cincinnati Youth Choir Building Tomorrow's Leaders, One Voice at a Time The award winning Cincinnati Youth Choir is an educationally based choral ensemble program.

Participants learn healthy vocal technique, sight-reading, music history and music theory while experiencing performance excellence using the philosophies and techniques of Carl Orff, Zoltan Kodaly, Jacques Dalcroze and Jerome Brunner. The learning environment is creative, exploitative and fun. The children form lasting relationships with children outside of their community and develop a lifelong appreciation of music.

🎶 📣 We are proud to announce our 2026-2027 team of ensemble directors.

Both in-town and out on tour, Hope Kesling-Milthaler from will lead Bel Canto, our traveling treble ensemble.

Kelsey D. Burkett from will lead Voci, our mixed ensemble, all the way through the Queen City Festival.

The one and only Jackie Thompson will continue her amazing work with Vivace.

Last but certainly not least, the outstanding Melissa Surman will continue her wonderful work with Piccolo Coro.

🎉 Big news from Cincinnati Youth Choir!

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ryan Ellis and Cindy Ellis as Cincinnati Youth Choir's new Co-Artistic Directors, effective with the 2026–27 season.

Ryan and Cindy bring exceptional artistry, extensive experience, and a deep commitment to youth music education. Together, they will lead C*C's artistic vision, programming, and instructional direction as we begin an exciting new chapter.

We invite our families, alumni, and community to meet Ryan and Cindy at our C*C Kickoff: Meet & Greet on Saturday, August 1, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM in Watson Recital Hall at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

What an unforgettable Queen City Festival 2026! 💙🎶

We were thrilled to welcome Youth Chorus of Annapolis, The Children's Chorus of San Antonio, Voices in the Laurel, and West Virginia Voices Youth Choir to Cincinnati for a weekend filled with music, learning, and new friendships.

From inspiring rehearsals and incredible performances to fun activities, shared meals, and exploring the city, every moment celebrated the power of bringing young voices together.

A special thank you to our Founder & Artistic Director Emerita Robyn Lana and guest artist Jim Papoulis, for sharing their passion, artistry, and inspiration with our singers throughout the weekend.

To every singer, conductor, volunteer, host family, and supporter—thank you for making Queen City Festival 2026 such a memorable celebration of choral music. Until next time! ✨💙

✨ What a week! Singabration 2026 ended on a high note with final classes, a dress rehearsal, and an incredible performance celebrating our theme, Joy in Song. 🎶🌈

A special thank you to composer and educator Daniel Dorsett, who joined us for our dress rehearsal and helped singers prepare the world premiere of Cotton Candy Sky. 🍭☁️

Thank you to our amazing staff, accompanists, guest artists, local music teachers, and parents and guardians for making this week possible. Most of all, thank you to our wonderful singers for filling the week with creativity, friendship, and JOY. 💛

The fun doesn't have to end with camp! We hope to see many of these smiling faces singing with us all year long. 🎶 Registration for the 2026–27 season is now open—come sing with us! ✨
