Cincinnati Youth Choir Building Tomorrow's Leaders, One Voice at a Time The award winning Cincinnati Youth Choir is an educationally based choral ensemble program.

Participants learn healthy vocal technique, sight-reading, music history and music theory while experiencing performance excellence using the philosophies and techniques of Carl Orff, Zoltan Kodaly, Jacques Dalcroze and Jerome Brunner. The learning environment is creative, exploitative and fun. The children form lasting relationships with children outside of their community and develop a lifelong appreciation of music.

Throughout the week, each color group has worked with Mr. Harley in Voice Class, learning healthy singing habits, vocal technique, and the songs they can't wait to share with you at tonight's concert. ๐ŸŽคโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

In Mr. Holz's Orff & Dalcroze Class, campers have explored music through movement and creativity, using instruments, rhythmic activities, and imaginative play to bring music to life. ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ•บ

And the excitement isn't over yet! This afternoon, our singers will have the opportunity to meet composer Daniel Dorsett, whose piece ๐ถ๐‘œ๐‘ก๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘› ๐ถ๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘‘๐‘ฆ ๐‘†๐‘˜๐‘ฆ will be premiered at our concert this evening! ๐Ÿญโ˜๏ธ๐ŸŽผ

Mike is excited to return to Singabration 2026 and help singers explore music through instruments, movement, and creative expression using Orff and Dalcroze-inspired activities ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿฅ

Mike believes that music is for everyone and hopes singers discover their own unique way to make an impact through music-making โœจ๐ŸŽต
