Hey everyone! I am excited to announce that the museum I have been building, is complete! I have spent the last 16 months building the University of Cincinanti Geoscience Museum, located at the University of Cincinnati campus, in Cincinnati Ohio. It is open during university hours to the public, and features many different geoscience displays on climate, paleontology, minerals, mammals, local and regional geology, and more! There are activity booklets and videos available within the museum, but I will also be linking them here for those who wish to “visit” virtually, as well as posting to the museums subreddit r/buildingamuseum . I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped make this project a reality, so thank you. Ans with the completion of this project I am also announcing that I am moving, to work on another interdisciplinary art-and-science geoscience project south at as I continue my education and work. I look forward to all of the future projects but am so incredibly grateful for the projects that have now come to pass. Meeting everyone, and learning from so many different folks, I genuinely cannot express how grateful I am for having had this experience, an oppertinity to create a museum space for other geoscientists and other geology lovers like myself. ( a wise man once said “I am not good at good-byes, so let’s not make this good bye”. ❤️🦖).
