We kicked off our Creative Kids Sewing Camp today, and these ladies are already rocking and rolling on the machines! 🧵✨

Working with kids is always enlightening because they are full of curiosity, and so much potential. Watching them navigate & experiment is such a joy.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before our events.

What matters is what all that preparation makes possible.

I want sewing to feel like something you can actually see yourself doing. And I want the person who has been intimidated by a sewing machine to leave feeling a little more confident than when they arrived.

That’s the heart behind these events.

Yes, we’re sewing. Yes, we’re having a good time & maybe a lil wine if that's what you're into. But we’re also creating an entry point into a skill that can become a hobby, a creative outlet, a way to make something useful, or simply something new to love.

And if all the prep behind the scenes helps someone fall in love with sewing the way I did, then every cut, kit, machine and last-minute detail is worth it.

FREE Kids Intro to Sewing Class! ✨🪡

Give your child a skill they can carry for a lifetime— it can all start with one stitch. ❤️

Sewing is more than a hobby its a skill. It teaches kids patience, creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and independence. As they grow, these skills can help them mend their own clothes, create things from scratch, and even use their knowledge to help others. 🧵🤍

We’re excited to offer a FREE 2-hour introductory sewing class where kids can learn the basics, get hands-on experience, and discover just how empowering it is to know how to sew!

We’re hosting another Learn to Sew Camp on September 26, and this one is for the beginner!

If you’ve never operated a sewing machine before, this is your starting point.
Or maybe you have a sewing machine sitting in the box because you bought it with every intention of learning… and then life happened. 🫣

We’ll get you comfortable with your machine and the basics you need to start sewing with confidence.

This is a focused, hands-on sewing experience designed to help you:

Bag Making Camp is OFFICIAL! 🧵✨

Kicking off in September with 3 weeks, 3 different bags, and one investment in your sewing journey!

This is Bag Making Camp: Part 1, designed for sewists who are ready to dive into bag making, build their skills, and get comfortable with the techniques that can make bag construction feel a whole lot less intimidating and build your confidence one bag at a time.

I’m SO excited about this camp because making bags is something I love. But more than that, I REALLY want to dispel the notion that “bag making is hard.” 👀👜

It's been a minute since I got to have fun with a project.

Lately it's been all events & prepping kits for classes so this LV upcycle was a nice change of pace. I love making bags, but giving them a second life might be my new jam!!

This weekend at Learn to Sew Camp, these ladies didn’t just complete their very first sewing projects EVER. They discovered that sewing isn’t as intimidating as they thought. One stitch at a time, they built confidence, learned new skills, cheered each other on, and left with something they created with their own two hands.

My favorite part? The smiles. The encouragement shared between women who walked in as strangers and left as part of a sewing community.

Like… they literally started a group chat, y’all!! 🥹💛

That’s exactly why I do this.

My mission has always been to make sewing feel easy, approachable, and accessible for anyone who’s ever wanted to learn.

To every person who trusted me enough to take that first stitch… thank you. I couldn’t be prouder of each of you. ❤️
