http://www.TheDummyBlog.com An awesome vent figure collaboration between Alex Howell, Brant Gilmer, Austin Phillips, and myself.

This ventriloquist dummy is loaded with cool animations Moving eye and eyebrows, mouth, upper lip sneer, and hypnotic spinning and light-up eye.

Alex's designs and art were just sensational. He really captured the 50s-60s cartoon villain vibe in the style of Snidely Whiplash and Dick Dastardly.

It's hard to believe this figure is carved from a block of basswood but it is. The mechanics are all brass with extreme attention to detail by Brant. He really captured the facial details from Alex's drawings.

Austin nailed bringing the character to life in full color. With killer costuming, getting the wig created and painting it.

It really is a special one-of-a-kind ventriloquist masterpiece.

His name is Nasty McNasty.

Concept by Jimmy Vee
Art and Design by Alex Howell
Carved by Brant Gilmer
Paint & Costume by Austin Phillips
