CLASSIFICATION NOTE: BIOFORGE SPECIMEN 001 predates the modern Project Abyss augmentation system. While officially designated Class V for intelligence purposes, its true level of biological evolution remains unknown.

Bio
BIOFORGE SPECIMEN 001, more commonly known throughout Project Abyss as "Grandpa," predates every major hybrid program currently active within the Forge. Created during Dr. Voss's earliest convergence experiments, Grandpa was intended to become a self-adaptive lifeform capable of unlimited evolutionary advancement.

The experiment exceeded every prediction.

Its biology never stabilized.

Instead, it continued evolving.

New organs appeared without explan
ation. Genetic traits emerged from species never introduced into its genome. Injuries healed incorrectly, often producing entirely new anatomical structures. More disturbing still, Grandpa began exhibiting neurological phenomena that no scientist could adequately explain. Personnel reported vivid hallucinations, intrusive memories, and emotional experiences originating from lives they had never lived.

Rather than terminate the project, Voss ordered continued observation.

Decades later, Grandpa remains alive.

Nobody fully understands why.

Bio
Irontail is the chief engineer of Project Abyss and the architect behind many of the Forge's most advanced technological achievements. While others command armies or dominate battlefields, Irontail shapes the tools that make those victories possible.

Possessing extraordinary technical intelligence and an obsessive attention to detail, he oversees everything from weapons development and cybernetic augmentation to reactor systems and dimensional containment technology.

Unlike many Abyss operatives, Irontail is not motivated by conquest or destruction. He views engineering as the highest expression of evolution and believes progress should never be limited by tradition or fear. Within the Forge, his workshops are legendary for producing technologies that blur the line between science and impossibility.

Many of Project Abyss's greatest weapons began as sketches on Irontail's workbench.

Bio
Luna is one of Black Nova's most enigmatic operatives. Unlike many Nova members who rely on advanced weaponry or overwhelming strength, Luna specializes in stealth, observation, and psychological disruption.

Known throughout the Nova Citadel as the "Gray Ghost," Luna has an uncanny ability to appear and disappear without warning. Security footage routinely shows her entering restricted areas without triggering alarms, despite no detectable breach in the system.

Her temperament makes her difficult to predict. She can be affectionate and cooperative one moment and utterly dismissive the next. While some members view her as temperamental, Regent considers her instincts among the most reliable in Black Nova.

No one is entirely certain whether Luna follows orders—or simply allows others to believe she does.
