The 7th Street Superstars audition once a year and meet and perform through that year (September to June). Eligible auditioners are in 8th through 12th grade and ages 13 through 18 at the time of the auditions. Auditioners must also have prior experience in CCCT and/or CCT (shows, classes, camps).
Auditioners must attend the entire audition time, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. This is the one and only audition for the season.

Important note: Superstars DO NOT need to be vocalists. Vocal skill and/or training is not required. But Superstars must be willing to perform vocally.

Please come to the audition in comfortable clothes you can move in and closed-toe shoes (no heels). Bring water and a snack. Be sure you are well rested and have eaten before you arrive.

Auditioners must complete all forms and BRING THEM to auditions (with parent/guardian signatures). Forms can be found here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1J1pck-S9fHtroVzqLuWv91XqMyFbOuCf?usp=sharing

Auditioners must also complete the audition form prior to the auditions. The form is found here:
https://forms.gle/TuokuDJofZqdUkN89

Finally, auditioners should prepare two audition pieces. SELECT ANY TWO of the following three:
* a monologue of about 1-2 minutes, either dramatic or comedic (off book)
* a musical theatre song of about 90 seconds (either upbeat or ballad; bring backing track)
* about 90 seconds of an original or published instrumental piece (bring your own instrument unless a piano)
Ideally, your two pieces will show different aspects of you as a performer, so that of your monologue, for example, is comedic, your song or instrumental should be a ballad or dramatic.

To audition for our Newsies, please carefully read all of the following information:

Auditions for Newsies, directed by Shawna and Doug Rumbaugh, for performers ages 13–22, will take place at the Carolyn Owens Community Center located at 13201 Central Avenue, Chino, CA 91710 on August 6 and 7.

We will also be holding a separate audition on July 30 for actors who are ages 10-12, though there is only one role that warrants an actor of this age. A sample rehearsal calendar can also be found on our Facebook event or at the link in our bio.

Auditioners ages 13-22 should sign up for an audition slot via the Casting Manager link (in our bio), be present at the time of their appointment, and expect to stay for an hour. Auditioners may also be called back on Sunday, August 7, at 12:00pm and expect to remain until 3:00pm, unless released earlier. Please ensure that you have uploaded a current photo, declared any conflicts, and answered all questions on Casting Manager prior to your audition.

Auditioners ages 10-12 should sign up for an audition slot via the SignUp Genius link (in our bio). They must be present at the Seventh Street Theatre located at 13123 Seventh Street, on July 30 at 12:00pm, and should expect to stay for two hours, unless released early. We only have 12 appointments available for children of this age, and they will be taken on a first come, first served basis. If invited to our callbacks, they must be present on Sunday, August 7 at 12:00pm, and expect to stay until 3:00pm, unless released early.

All auditioners should prepare 16–32 bars of music in the style of the show, but it is not recommended that you sing a song from the show. Please bring a backing track with no vocals. No accompanist will be provided. Auditoners should also come prepared for a dance audition; dress appropriately, and wear closed toe shoes. Some auditioners may also be asked to read a scene from the show.

All auditioners should bring the following with them:
*a labeled water bottle
*a healthy snack, if you need it
*all signed forms
All forms can be found on the Casting Manager website and are also linked in our Facebook event and Instagram bio.

"Big City" was our moment to make big moves. Our campers headed to LA where they wrote, filmed and edited their very own films together! They stopped by Chicago and found themselves doing stand up comedy. Last stop was NYC where they took Broadway by storm!
What a way to finish camps this summer. We'd like to thank all of our summer camp families for participating, and to our campers; we love you and we are so proud! See ya next year!

So You Think You Can Crew? Yes we do! This week we had our first ever tech camp and the crew was incredible. They spent all week learning and executing professional level crew skills. From costumes to Stage management, 15 artisans put their natural talent and new skills to the test last Friday when they put on two shows which were fully designed and ran by campers! We love our techies!

In case someone is missing keys.
It's that time dear friends. Let's come out and support Cannataro's this Wednesday and in return they give back to our amazing theatre. Order by phone to go, or walk in and order. One less day of cooking and if you are watching your waistline..take the day..one cheat day is allowed.
Save the date! Plan your weekly dinner menu and remember Wednesday is covered by Cannataros. Don't forget to print out this flyer and tag on Wednesday. Thank you for your support.
Thank you all for your support for our Community Theatres in these unique times.
