Venice wasn’t our favorite destination… The food in our opinion was mediocre, it’s crowded, packed with tourists, and getting to our Airbnb was a trek. We had to haul our luggages and gears through the city crossing multiple bridges and stairs just to find out our Airbnb was on the tallest floor 😩… BUT I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who has never seen it!
The city yields some of my most favorite photos of all time… And I think it was all worth it!

Probably one of the hardest shoot I've done...
The dunes are NOT friendly and calm as I portray it here. Yes photos lie...
Behind the scenes it was windy and sandy. I was constantly battling with trying to shoot in good light or terrible wind direction. I pretty much had sand for lunch and my eyes got it pretty bad. But at least my skin got a nice exfoliating treatment. 😃

As we are rapidly improving our COVID case numbers, I am hopeful that 2021 and 2022 will be a much more beautiful year for all of us in the wedding industry.

It’s been a while since I posted anything. I know this is long overdue, but there has been a lot that happened in 2020. I just had to take some time and get away... Escape from everything. We all have our ups and downs. And this year was one of those down year for me. But for those who are following me and are still inspired by my work. I wanna thank you for sticking around. I am incredibly humbled and thankful for all of you guys who refer work to me and stayed inspired by my work.

I woke up early this morning and before my day even started, I closed my eyes in front of the bathroom mirror and thought about all of the things that I am grateful for my soon to be beautiful wife, my health, my family, and my friends...
Try this when it's your quiet time, close your eyes and reminisce about everything that you're grateful for. It literally takes 1 minute and it's a beautiful way to elevate your mood and a great way to kickstart your day.

Can you feel the romance?
Ansel Adams said it best when he said "you don't take a photograph, you make it."
If you think about it a painter spends countless hours in preparations; selecting colors, finding the right light, and inspiration before making any brush strokes.
It's so easy these days to pick up a digital camera and just snap a photo, but what makes a photo "yours" is the thought and process involved before even taking the photo. This is why I choose to shoot film. Because of the limiting factor of 16 FRAMES PER ROLL, I have to be deliberate, intentional, and thoughful of every frame. A choice of black and white , warm tone , or cool tone film is selected based on the mood I'd like to portray and scene setting. I carefully select of the scene, compose my frame, and place/anticipate of my subject. All this is done before the shutter is even clicked. And once the photo is taken, I have it processed by one of the best lab in the world . But even then, if the colors and tones are not to "my preference", we communicate and have it readjusted until it is "perfect" in my eyes.
This is what it means to "make a photograph"...
