PeaceMakers Ensemble We are a group of teens who have banded together to use Theater, Art, Music and Poetry to cultivate Youth Programs Director - Luis Crespo (2015-2020)

We are a diverse group of young adults from around Chicago who utilize their artistic abilities and sensibilities to raise awareness and inspire change surrounding core issues that affect us all. The purpose of our Peacemakers Ensemble is to use theater and creative writing to develop theater that encourages peace, Incite change, give voice to the youth of our city and spread love. We use the perf

orming arts as a way to inspire, engage, spark and activate audiences to make changes in the way they interact with others and start dialogues regarding the responsibility we all have to cultivate community and peace. We want to make a change in the way our society interacts when it comes to issues of violence and injustice.
