We're super excited to screen the hilarious new comedy Pickleheads at FunnyCon! A sports comedy about pickleball was bound to happen, and this mockumentary follows “a disgraced ping pong star who is dragged back into the limelight by a documentary crew, hoping to capture his redemption tale in a plucky new sport — pickleball” — or, as it’s described in the movie, “America’s fastest growing nightmare.” Pickleheads was shot in Austin, Texas, directed by Rooster Teeth veteran Josh Flanagan, written by Jared Bonner, and stars Pej Vahdat, Kristine Froseth, Jared Bonner, Harvey Guillén, John O’Hurley, Adrianne Palicki, Eric Nelsen, Ryan Cooper, and Lindsey Morgan.

Lisa Chimenti, known on stage as The Glam Ham, will be gracing the stage at FunnyCon.

Lisa is a stand-up comedian and comedy educator whose work blends sharp observation, personal storytelling, and a fearless willingness to say the things everyone else is thinking. Her comedy pulls from real life — dating in midlife, family dynamics, body image, aging, and everyday awkwardness — and turns it into laughs through a strong, relatable point of view. Arm wrestling and hitting on attractive men are two of her favorite pastimes, and they may figure into her stage performance.

Lisa’s stand-up has been recognized on festival and club stages, including taking first place at the Ladies Room Comedy Festival in Harlem, NY. She regularly performs throughout the Midwest and beyond, winning over audiences with her warm stage presence, confidence, and smart, accessible humor.

Offstage, Lisa is deeply invested in comedy education and community building. She teaches workshops and small-group programs that break down comedy craft in clear, human terms, helping comedians, creators, and fans understand why things are funny — not just how to write jokes. Her teaching style is structured, supportive, and grounded in real experience, making comedy feel accessible rather than intimidating.

Lisa is the creator of The Glam Ham Comedy Studio, a writing and performance program focused on helping people find their voice and bring stronger, more confident material to the stage or screen.
