Well, I was half a mile into my swim at the Y when the fire alarm went off. They had to evacuate the whole building!! We were all outside, most people barefoot and dripping wet. Thankfully I grabbed my flip flops and swimsuit coverup, so I wasn’t cold. I never did find out why the alarm went off. Long story short, I’m 4.5 miles into my Swim Five Miles in May fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. There’s a link in my bio to donate if you’d like to support this organization.
