The Batman 🦇

This piece has been on its way to the trash more times than not. Originally wanting to do a high contrast Batman, I was super pumped about the pencil stage. After adding the ink and wincing at how badly I ruined it, this piece has lived in a drawer for months. I started experimenting with gauche by practicing on a few of my trashed pieces and I’m happy to say I think this one found new life. Using a combination of ink, gauche, colored pencil, pastel, acrylic markers, and a touch of acrylic paint, this Batman piece is now available on my Comic Art Fans shop, linked in my Bio! Happy New Year and I’m excited to see what other experimental gems come out of this year🦇🦇🦇
