I'm a dynamic artist, whose primary focus is acting and writing. I enjoy a rich life immersed in performance which includes acting, stage combat, poetry, and singing to name a few. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) in Theatre and Performance from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have a zeal for the written and spoken word!

👉 63% say arts help them better understand other cultures in their community
👉 72% say arts create shared experiences across race, ethnicity, age, and beliefs
👉 78% see arts as a positive force in challenging times
👉 72% view arts events as safe spaces for sharing different viewpoints
👉 39% have had their perspectives transformed through arts experiences

What makes these findings particularly significant? These perspectives span ALL demographic and economic categories, suggesting the arts’ power to unify communities.

At a time when understanding and connection are more crucial than ever, National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) grant cancellations threaten these vital bridges between cultures and communities.
