Get ready for an unforgettable event! The Prijatelji Orchestra of Chicago is thrilled to host its 31st annual concert on Saturday, March 21, 2026, and we can’t wait to share this experience with you. Tickets are available now: https://PRIJATELJI.ticketspice.com/2026concert

This year, doors open at 3:00 pm and the concert begins promptly at 4:00 pm. We’re excited to welcome you again to our venue, the beautiful Lithuanian World Center at 14911 127th St., Lemont, IL 60439. After the concert, enjoy a delicious buffet-style dinner catered by the outstanding Grand Dukes Eastern European Restaurant of Downers Grove.

And that’s just the beginning.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that The Tamburitzans (formerly “The Duquesne University Tamburitzans”) will once again join us as our special guests! Their presence means so much to our group. One of Prijatelji’s members, Roman Vucinic, is now part of the Tamburitzans! We are extremely proud of his decision to develop as an artist and person with this organization. His father and uncle, Bob and Phil Vucinic, are alumni as are our current director, Joe Gornick, his wife Diane. And another Prijatelji performer, John Pruzin, also has a daughter currently performing with the ensemble—making this appearance even more meaningful. The Tamburitzans are also close to our heart because our beloved former director, John Gornick, was their biggest fan and championed the Tamburitzan’s mission to share tamburitza music across the country.

The Tamburitzans will present a captivating, abbreviated performance from their full show. If you’d like to experience the complete production, they’ll be performing the next day—Sunday, March 22 at Munster High at 2:00 pm. Learn more or purchase tickets at: www.thetamburitzans.org.

After dinner, the celebration continues with the always‑fantastic SINOVI Orchestra of Chicago. Their energy, talent, and crowd‑pleasing repertoire guarantee a dance floor that stays full all night. We’re grateful to have them as a cherished part of our Croatian community.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night for our Christmas party! People out did themselves with their festive Christmas attire. Loved the enthusiasm as the 12 tables sang the 12 days of Christmas. Music by Sinovi was great as usual. Kudos to those who joined in karaoke! There was such good energy last night. Really felt the Christmas spirit!

Eat, Dance, and Be Merry — PRIJATELJI’s Christmas Party Is Back!
Ugly sweaters, live tambura music, kolo dancing, and holiday fun for the whole family!

After several years apart, the PRIJATELJI Orchestra is joyfully bringing back its beloved Christmas Party—a night of music, dancing, laughter, and togetherness that so many in our community have missed. Join us on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Angelo’s Ristorante & Banquets, 247 N. York Street in Elmhurst, as we celebrate the season the way we know best—with song, dance, great food, and the warmth of friends old and new.

Our evening will feature a buffet dinner of Angelo’s famous cuisine, a cash bar, and plenty of festive fun. There will be Christmas karaoke, kolo dancing to live music by SINOVI Orchestra, and even a few surprises to make the night sparkle. Don’t be shy about your wardrobe—ugly Christmas sweaters are highly encouraged, and prizes await the boldest!
